[COIX-Announce] COIX Service Impacting Maintenance 5/28/2025 6AM Pacific

All,

 

Thank you for continued membership in the COIX! Please note we will be
performing service impacting maintenance 5/28/2025 starting at 6AM Pacific
time.

 

During this time, we will be replacing our existing switches in both the
BendTel datacenter and Fort Rock datacenter. At 6AM we will bring down the
route servers, allowing time for sessions to close. We will then move
members to the new switches.

 

Please note if you have any direct sessions, we highly recommend gracefully
shutting them down before the maintenance start time begins.

 

Downtime is expected to be approximately 10-20 minutes; however we are
reserving 6AM-7AM for the maintenance timeslot to allow time for any
unforeseen circumstances.

 

The new switches we will be installing will upgrade us to a modern, unified
switching platform and allow us to offer 100Gbps memberships.
